Saigon Translation – Lao translation agency Our pool of translators and interpreters are native speakers of the language they work in, with excellent command of spoken and/or written English. The average profile is a degreed professional, often working in their field of subject expertise (e.g. law, information technology, literature, science, etc.) with a 4-year university degree, often a masters degree, from a foreign or U.S. university.
Lao Translation Services
Our translators translate into the language of their native, mother tongue. Or if this is not possible, at least one knowledgeable expert of the language translated into is consulted and has final review of the work before completion. We accept all kinds of translation material, from business and technical, to casual and personal. For translations, personal correspondence, technical documents, software and/or Websites, training manuals, business documents, medical and legal documents, naturalization or citizenship documents, birth certificates, family registers, children’s material, books, literature (poetry, belle lettres, and standard literary genres), pre-modern (ancient) or Buddhist, are all welcome. We can also do voice overs and audio files. Rates depend on the job. Prices are based on several factors, not least of which include the number of pages, the difficulty of the work, specialty knowledge required, turnaround time expected, certifications of translator (where required), finishing requirements (digital, formatted, etc.), language translated into and the availability of qualified translators (and consultants). Having met with you and understood clearly the scope of the job and your requirements, we will see about securing a translator (among our pool), and get back to you with a price quote and time estimate for completion. Sample translation works are available on request (where confidentiality is not an issue). We can also provide a sample translation of the work you are submitting (for instance paragraph two on page one of a twenty-page document) for review by your knowledge expert in the target language, before continuing. Interpretation Services
For interpretation, we do legal proceedings, medical visits or procedures, naturalization and citizenship appointments, business meetings and phone conversations or teleconferences, speeches, casual or informal gatherings (such as weddings, dinners, etc.). Rates vary based on the job. Travel time and distance to the site, when significant, may also need to be factored into a quote; and in the case of non-local engagements, per diem and lodging needs must also be expensed.
